The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ruhengeri (Latin: Dioecesis Kibungensis) is an ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Rwanda. It was erected on September 5, 1968 by Pope John XXIII. The diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Kigali.
The current Bishop of Ruhengeri is His Excellency Frédéric Rubwejanga, having been appointed by Pope John Paul II on March 30, 1992.
Bahujimihigo also resigned in January 2010 and the diocese is going to be overseen by Bishop Thadeo Ntihinyurwa.
